About this tool

This is a very experimental tool to fulfill two related purposes:

1. generate graphical, easy to use overviews over the study plan recommendations for our programs,
2. plan each semester’s courses using both the study plans and a weeky timetable.

All data can be wrong and is informational only.

From the Study plans section, you can access our recommendation for each variant of the respective programme, and you can also show various metadata for each module. After selecting a concrete programme variant, you can use the student counselling view to prepare student-specific annotated variants of that programme. No student data leaves your browser for that (actually, no student data is required, we only use student names to prepare various versions in parallel).

Data

The data powering the tool (i. e., everything specific to our programmes and courses) are maintained in YAML files in a Gitlab repository. The programme data needs to be encoded by hand in the YAML files, the timetable data can be maintained using the UI.

Note that in this deployment all editing runs through me, so if you find any issue or wrong data, drop me an e-mail.

Code
